Who Will Replace Kohli As Captain

Some Of The  Intresting Rumors Comming That Rohit Will Replace Kohli As Captain:

Two Players Who Can Replace Virat Kohli As ODI cricket team Captain of India.
India skipper Virat Kohli might have won his alleged battle of showing Anil Kumble the exit door from the dressing room but there is no denying the fact that it has put him firmly under the spotlight. And why not? After all, the team had enjoyed a very fruitful season under Kumble.
During the former India skipper’s spell, India reached the top of Test cricket with the series win against West Indies, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh and Australia.Anil Kumble also guided Team India to the final of the recently-concluded Champions Trophy in addition to limited-series win over New Zealand and England.
Smart phones However,Anil Kumble’s stint with Virat Kohli & Co. ended on a bitter note with India’s highest Test wicket-taker stepping down from his post after being informed of the captain as well as some other players. And with Kohli deciding to not reveal his side of the story in order to maintain the devotion of the dressing room, a lot of eyebrows have been raised with many believing that the India batting star played a big role in Kumble’s  departure.
Moreover, reports are suggesting that Kohli is under pressure to deliver as the captain. Last month, a top BCCI official had said that the India captain would have to ensure that the team delivers under him, otherwise he would also have to face the music.
“It has been given to understand that Kohli eventually had the veto power on the coach issue which pushed Kumble out of the team. Now that he has his way, he has to deliver as captain.
As of now, everything is fine with the Men in Blue leading the ongoing five-match series against West Indies by 3-1 with one twenty20 to go. But in case, if the results do not go in favour of Kohli, there are rumours that he can face dire consequences and so we are taking a look at two possible candidates who can replace him as the captain of the ODI team.

1. Rohit Sharma:

Arguably, the best candidate if the BCCI looks to appoint a new skipper to the indian team. Rohit Sharma has become one of India’s most dependable players in the limited-overs format and his performance in the Champions Trophy totally proves it. After making a comeback into the national team following a gap of six months, the right-handed batsman hit the ground running, as he finished the tournament as its second highest run-scorer.
His captaincy record is equally impressive. The 30-year-old, this year, became the first captain to win three Indian Premier League (IPL) titles after leading Mumbai Indians to their third title in five years.

2. Ajinkya Rahane:

One of India’s batting mainstays in Test format, the Mumbai-born batsman is finally looking at ease in the 50-overs format. After being benched throughout the Champions Trophy, Rahane has grabbed the opportunity of opening the innings in the ongoing series against West Indies, having to score three half-centuries and a century in the first four games.
Moreover, Rahane has already proved his worth as a skipper by leading India to a thumping win over Australia in the final Border-Gavaskar series earlier this year. His tactics and game-plan drew praise from one and all and he can be a suitable candidate for India’s ODI captain.

Big Guns Return As West Indies Aim's To Reclaim Pride Against India:

Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree and Kieron Pollard will support the hosts as world champions face India in one-off  the Twenty20 International match  to be held on july 9.
West Indies have included players like Chris Gayle and Samuel Badree in their one-off  the Twenty20 against India on Sunday.
There was a murmur at the Sabina Park on last few days as the big names of West Indies cricket are finally returned to play . Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine, all of who missed the ODIs despite being fit , took on to  the field and after a brief discussion with coach Stuart Law they get into the business.
"These are players who are massively experienced in Twenty20 cricket. You don’t need to tell them anything. They have played more Twenty20's than I have” says coach Law told  when asked how tough it is to handle frequently changing sides.
The hosts,  are beaten by India  with the equation 3-1 in the series of  5 ODIs, will look to get the momentum back when they take on India in  one-off the Twenty-20 International here on 9-july.

West Indies are the world champions in this format and they have  the better  records over   India, winning four and losing two in seven Twenty20 Internationals they have played ith india till date.
However, the big question is that if  Sunday’s encounter will draw some crowds to the stadium. So low had been the interest in the ODIs that the first thing Chris Gayle hoped is that the fans at his home ground will turn out in numbers to watch him bat.

Chris Gayle, who is 37 now, is playing for West Indies after  a year. He is targeting the 50-over World Cup  will be held in 2019 as well as the next Twenty20 World Cup.

The good news for West Indies cricket is that Chris Gayle will be trying to sort out issues that have been keeping the likes of him, Narine, Pollard and Samuels out of the ODI team and which has eventually affected West Indies cricket’s standing in ICC rankings currently at the 9th place ,West Indies missed out from the ICC Champians Trophy because of low ranking only.
Cricket West Indies has a rule that require these players to feature in a minimum number of domestic matches to qualify to play for West Indies in longer formats, including the ODIs(one-days). Since none of the players from them featured in that due to their busy Twenty20 schedule, they couldn’t able play for there nation and that hurt West Indies badly.
Gayle hoped that with the arrival of big names, crowds will turn up. However, only Sunday will show if  the West Indies still need the big man and his friends or not only the time will tell it.

Virat  Kohli  May Open As Visitors Start Favourites Despite Chris Gayle Factor

Skipper Virat Kohli might open the innings when India take on the West Indies in a one-off Twenty20 match, aiming to finish their Caribbean tour on a high.
India will take on West Indies in the one-off Twenty20 on Sunday.
Rishabh Pant may get a chance to feature in the one-off Twenty20 match.
Chris Gayle will play for West Indies after a gap of 15 months(more then a year)
India secured the One-Day International series by the equation 3-1.

Skipper Virat Kohli might open the innings when India take on the West Indies in  one-off the Twenty20, looking to finish their Caribbean tour on a high despite the threat posed by Chris Gayle's  return to the home team. After winning the five-match ODI series by 3-1, Indian team  will certainly have an upper hand despite the presence of  Chris Gayle, who can single-handedly swing fortunes especially in the shortest format games like Twenty20. However, Chris Gayle will be put-on the Caribbean maroons after a gap of 15 months during which he has battledwith the injuries as well as  poor form during the Indian Premier League played from the Royal Challengers bangalore , which was his last competitive tournament before this particular game.
West Indies are regaining world champions with the likes of Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree still a part of the current squad led by their World T20 hero Carlos Brathwaite.
Also there's Evin Lewis, who had scored a 49-ball-100 in West Indies' one-run win over India in a T20 game in Florida, last year.
But T20 is one of the format where the home team starts on even keel against an Indian team which had its foot firmly on the pedal save an occasional blip in Jamaica.

The change in format may bring about some strategic shift in the playing XI with Virat Kohli expected to open the innings. Kohli has opened a lot for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and also occasionally for India when Rohit Sharma has not been available.
While Ajinkya Rahane has had a fantastic ODI series with close to 350 runs including a century and three half-tons, Kohli opening the innings with Shikhar Dhawan looks more descent considering the change in format of the game.
The young Rishabh Pant could finally get his chance on the tour. Pant was a part of the playing XI that last played a T20 match against England in Bengaluru, earlier this year.
The Indian team management is aiming to brush Rishabh Pant as the future limited-overs Wicket-keeper and that's the reason he may get his chance.
Kuldeep Yadav, who has been a successful T20 bowler for Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR), may also make his T20 International debut after an impressive series in which he picked up eight wickets.
Since there has been a pattern in the first 11 selection of the Indian team, the last T20 International saw leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal pick up six England wickets.
With Chahal not being a part of this squad, the management may go for a wrist spinner in Kuldeep, who has the ability to trouble the batsmen with his wrong 'uns.

IPL's highest wicket-taker, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, after some well-earned rest, will be leading the pace attack alongside Umesh Yadav.
For West Indies, the bonus will be on their spin twins Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree, who can trouble the Indian batsmen with their variations.Sunil Narine may also open the innings, something which he successfully did for KKR in the IPL.
