Yes, Anushka Sharma And Virat Kohli Are Married.

"Met, Fell In Love And They Can't Live Without Each Other"

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood star actress Anushka Sharma have tied the knot, in Italy, on Monday. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding ceremony took place at a resort named as Borgo Finocchieto in Buonconvento town in the Province of Siena in Italy.

The couple said in a statement :

"Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you".

The Hindu ceremony was attended by close family and a few friends. The couple said they wanted "their wedding to be a very private affair".

The Couple will host a reception in Delhi for relatives on 21 December, followed by a celebration in Mumbai on 26 December to be attended by Bollywood stars and cricketers, they said.

It was four years ago that cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma first featured as a couple for Hindustan Unilever’s Clear Shampoo commercial. Now, as the two gear up to tie the knot, the celebrity pair could take their advertising relationship to the next level.

While the two have appeared together for the second time in a recent ad for apparel brand Manyavar, they are sure to be much more in demand as soon as they marry, celebrity management sources told Business Standard. Real estate, jewellery, cars, and consumer goods are among the categories where the couple could appear together over the coming time.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli put all speculations to rest and became man and wife on December 11. After days of will-they-won't-they, the star couple, who had never confirmed their relationship officially, directly jumped on the bandwagon of marriage choosing a destination wedding in Milan, Italy. The highly private ceremony kept media away, but even fans hanging ever since reports began rounding about their wedding . But the way these two finally out the news of there wedding to the world made everyone's day.

In fact, Kohli and Sharma are set to join the likes of Ajay-Kajol, Akshay-Twinkle and Amitabh-Jaya, who’ve featured in couple ads recently. Ajay-Kajol have appeared for brands such as Lifebuoy, Akshay-Twinkle for PC Jeweller and Amitabh-Jaya for Kalyan Jewellers, respectively.

Couple endorsers typically charge in the range of Rs 4-5 crore to Rs 7-8 crore per brand, depending on the advertiser’s ability to shell out the big bucks.

But Virat-Anushka are likely to cross this threshold and charge nothing less than Rs 10-12 crore per brand given their popularity and appeal with the youth, sources in the know pointed out.

“Virat is the captain of the Indian side and Anushka is an list-'A' Bollywood actress. Something like this has not happened before though there have been instances of Bollywood and cricket stars coming together.Virat-Anushka, in a sense, are celebrity royalty, “And advertisers will seize the opportunity to cast the two together once they are through with marriage.”

India Beats Australia in their 6th series in a row

affid=chaudhary105

Indian teams gets on the top in the ICC One day rankings after defeating Australia by 4-1 in the series of  5 ODI's.

India wrap's up a comprehensive series win over Australia , and it is  no less than they deserve. They outplayed Australian team for the majority of this tour at home, and emerge from it the best ODI side in the world.
They destroyed whole  Australian team today, whichever way you spin it. Again, the visitors laid a platform that provided hope, but as with the flow of the series they were reeled in and suffocated . There were murmurs that 240-260 may have been competitive on a slow wicket, but India put paid to that with a batting exhibition of their own.

Rohit Sharma, particularly, was absolutely majestic in his 125 from 109 balls. It will be hard to find ODI inning’s as the one he played today. and for that magnificent innings Rohit Sharma is declared Man of the Match.
And in a tight field, it was Hardik Pandya who grabs the  Man of the Series award. He scored more then 200 runs at number four, a handful of wickets, he was central to most things that went well for India. He looks like a better all-rounder of indian team for future.

Indian opener Rohit Sharma scored his 14th ODI century of his career and sixth against Australia which takes India towards an easy victory in the 5th ODI in Nagpur. Indian openers Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma gave India a brilliant start by sharing a 124-run opening stand before Rahane was dismissed by Coulter-Nile for 61 runs. Virat Kohli has  provided  support to Rohit after that.

India's scoring rate is far better than the asking rate. This is because  bowlers did a great job to restrict Australia to 242/9 in there 50 overs in the 5th ODI in Nagpur. Marcus Stoinis and Travis Head shared a 87-run stand for the fifth wicket to take Australia past 200-run mark. But, Head was bowled out by Axar Patel. This once again pushed Australia back. For India, Axar picked up three wickets while Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets. Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kedar Jadhav picked up a wicket each.

For Australia openers David Warner and Aaron Finch provided a solid start  with  66 run first wicket partnership. Warner top scored with 53 runs off 62 balls. Travis Head (42) and Marcus Stoinis (46) also contributed with the bat in the latter half of the innings as the visitors put up a challenging score of 242/9 in their full quota of 50 overs.

In reply openers, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma made cautious start to their innings. Rohit took 14 balls to open his account in the run chase, but accelerated in the latter stages of the innings as he punished Australian bowlers to all the parts of the ground.
Indian team lead by caption Virat Kohli created and broke many records with their convincing wins

The series victory is India’s sixth consecutive under Kohli’s leadership – the most for an India cricket team in a row. The previous best was five series victories between October 2008 and January 2010.
Before Hyderabad, India have registered Test series wins against Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, New Zealand and England.
The team is also unbeaten in last 19 Tests – the maximum under any Indian captain. The last best was of 18 Tests under the captaincy of Sunil Gavaskar.
Kohli, who was adjudged the Man of the Match in the Bangladesh Test. He’s become the second India captain to receive three Man of the Match awards as a captain in one season (2016-17) after Sachin Tendulkar (1999-2000).

INDIAN WOMENS CRICKET TEAM

BCCI REWARDS THE INDIAN WOMENS CRICKET TEAM

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the players of Indian women cricket team will get Rs 50 lakh for their outstanding performance in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 held in England. The women’s team has been in sublime form since the tournament began and it appears that the BCCI took note and announced the reward. Indian womens cricket team just lost 2 matches in the whole tournament to reach to the semi-finals. They beats defending champions Australia by 35 runs in the second semi-finals while England beat South Africa by in the first semi final.Harmanpreet Kaur’s unbeaten 171 remained the highlight of the semi finals where India thrashed out Australia . This is the India’s only second appearance in the final of the competition and the last time they played in the championship match was in 2005 India won five out of their seven matches. “It was also not easy for England,” as promised India captain Mithali Raj after her side’s stunning semi-final win over six-times champions Australia.

MP GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCED REWARD

Madhya Pradesh government has announced a cash reward of Rs 50 lakh for Indian women’s team after they finished as runners-up in the ICC World Cup 2017. India were defeated by nine runs by the hands of England at Lord’s . Chasing a target of 229, the Mithali Raj-led side failed to cross the target given by England team. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the reward will be given to the team at a grand ceremony in Bhopal when the womens cricket team will return back to India.

METHALI RAJ ASKED FOR THE WOMENS LEAGUE LIKE IPL

Mithali Raj has said the Indian team was nervous in the final of the ICC. Women’s World Cup against England and stated that in order to deal with such a pressure, a female equivalent of the Indian Premier League is needed. India captain Mithali Raj said now was time to “create the base” of a female equivalent to the Indian Premier League after her side’s hopes of Women’s World Cup final glory were taken away by England at Lord’s. Raj’s side looked on course to lift the trophy for the first time at 191 for three, chasing 229 for victory, in final at the ‘home of cricket’. But on the same Lord’s ground where India’s men had won an inaugural World Cup title back in 1983, they lost their last seven wickets for just 28 runs to be bowled out for 219 with eight balls to left.

Mistakes Indian womens team made in final

India did little wrong for the better part of the chase against England in the final of ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. They were in control while Punam Raut, Harmanpreet Kaur and later Veda Krishnamurthy. Punam Raut and Harmanpreet Kaur shared a 95-run stand for the third wicket and even when they got out latter, it looked like India would get to the target of 229 runs. But it all went horribly wrong after Raut’s wicket fell. Veda Krishnamurthy could not hold a falling batting lineup together on her own and India ended up losing their last seven wickets for just 28 runs. Here are a few areas that looked to be where England were superior to India on the day.

Experience:

In the end, England, who won their fourth World Cup title on Sunday, showed why experience matters. While India were playing only their second final, first in 12 years, England were finalists five times and looked relaxed even when the going got tough. India, on the other hand, looked under the weather when Krishnamurthy was dismissed. They looked like a team of players who did not know what to do in a situation like this and they can’t be blamed. It really was the first time they found themselves in a situation where they were so close yet so far from a World Cup title.

Homework:

She starred for India and helped the team win against Australia in the semi-final. Her 171-run innings had 20 fours and seven sixes. But, Harmanpreet needed a different approach in the final. The England bowlers bowled a straight line to her. That is why she could play only one run on the off-side while 50 other were on the leg side.

Fielding:

Sarah Taylor effected two run-outs and almost pulled off a stumping of Deepti Sharma. Fielding, more often than not, is where a team can win or lose the mental battle, which is central to a match as big as a World Cup final. England made the difference in the field on Sunday. Indian were guilty of overthrows and misfields which cost them many runs. On the other hand, England were spot-on and did not give any easy runs.

Pressure:

Mithali Raj was not the picture of calmness as she has been for the better part of the tournament after the dismissal of Veda Krishnamurthy. The nervousness she felt seemed to be one that was shared by the entire team. Every time a new batter came in, she brought in that nervousness with her. It is the only way one can explain why a player would go for a lofted shot when only 11 runs are needed to win from 18 balls. Those nerves, in the end, cost them the match and the Cup.

INDIAN FANS GOT HEARTBREAK

There was heartbreak for India as Mithali Raj and Co faltered at the last hurdle in the Women's World Cup 2017, losing by a whisker against England. This was the second time that India finished runner-up in the showpiece event, having lost in the final to Australia in 2005 as well. England won their fourth world title, and while there were contrasting emotions, Sunday's final was a magnificent advertisement for women's cricket in general in India in particular. It was an anti-climactic result for India since they were well on course for a memorable triumph, sitting pretty at 191 for three in 42.5 before a batting collapse saw them bowled out for 219 in 48.4 overs. Indian players are dejected after losing final against England in the Women's World Cup. Needing just 38 runs off 43 balls, the Indian lower middle order committed harakiri losing seven wickets for 28 runs in 6.5 overs. Opener Punam Raut (86) and Harmanpreet Kaur's (51) steady half centuries had set the platform but once they departed it was far from a smooth ride as England's consistent strikes turned . Veda Krishnamurthy (35 off 34 balls), Sushma Verma's (0) and Jhulan Goswami (0) were dismissed in space of nine balls. Krishnamurthy had raised hopes with a cameo but her sloppy shot selection off Anya Shrubsole in the 45th over changed the script as it exposed the tailenders to a pressure situation which they could not deal with it. Nevertheless, the Indian women's team emerged as a force in world cricket with some inpsiring peformances such as Harmanpreet Kaur's fearless strokeplay. However, it was one last chance for captain Raj and veteran Jhulan to have a world title in their cupboards.

India were making their second appearance in a World Cup final. They lost their previous final, against Australia in Centurion, by 98 runs in 2005. A proven performer for far too long, Jhulan delivered with three wickets in the most widely watched game in the history of women's cricket as India restricted the hosts to 228 for seven. Smriti Mandhana (0) must have been desperate to break her run-less streak but a four-ball duck ended her campaign in the tournament as Shrubsole crashed through her defence in the second over of the Indian innings. Raj (17 off 31) and Raut added 38 runs for the second wicket before the captain trudged back to pavilion following a lazy run out. Surprisingly, Raj gave up half way after Raut called her for a run. India were steady, going little under four an over, but England were fielding well to ensure there were no freebies. Harmanpreet came to the crease with a bag of burden on her shoulder and batted with maturity. In company of Raut, she kept the scoreboard ticking and twice lofted left-arm sppiner Alex Hartley over the ropes, signalling that things were very much under control. India reached 100 in the 27th over and Raut rasied her half-century with a single off Shrubsole. Harmanpreet too got to the milestone soon when she glanced Katherine Brunt to fine leg. With two batswomen going about their business untroubled, India had a firm control over the proceedings. But England got exactly what India did not want to lose at that time: Harmanpreet's wicket. The Moga girl swept Hartley straight to Tammy Beaumont at deep square leg when even England had not expected a wicket and that too of the most dangerous batter in Indian line-up. She did not set the field on fire like the way she batted against Australia but it was a significant knock, although it did not prove to be enough in the end.

Earlier, the coin landed in England's favour at the toss was hardly a deterrent as India went about the task in a professional manner. Leading the show was the redoubtable Jhulan, who scythed through the English middle-order. The highlight of the lanky bowler's outing was the back-to-back dismissals of Sarah Taylor and Fran Wilson, which pegged England back. Taylor is a legend of the women's game and Sciver entered the marquee match on the back of two centuries, and Jhulan had them caught behind and trapped in front of the wicket. In what could be her last match, Taylor walked off to an ovation from the almost sell-out Lord's crowd after scoring 45 off 62 balls. The veteran English batswoman, surprisingly, could not hit a boundary in her innings.

Who Will Replace Kohli As Captain

Some Of The  Intresting Rumors Comming That Rohit Will Replace Kohli As Captain:

Two Players Who Can Replace Virat Kohli As ODI cricket team Captain of India.
India skipper Virat Kohli might have won his alleged battle of showing Anil Kumble the exit door from the dressing room but there is no denying the fact that it has put him firmly under the spotlight. And why not? After all, the team had enjoyed a very fruitful season under Kumble.
During the former India skipper’s spell, India reached the top of Test cricket with the series win against West Indies, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh and Australia.Anil Kumble also guided Team India to the final of the recently-concluded Champions Trophy in addition to limited-series win over New Zealand and England.
Smart phones However,Anil Kumble’s stint with Virat Kohli & Co. ended on a bitter note with India’s highest Test wicket-taker stepping down from his post after being informed of the captain as well as some other players. And with Kohli deciding to not reveal his side of the story in order to maintain the devotion of the dressing room, a lot of eyebrows have been raised with many believing that the India batting star played a big role in Kumble’s  departure.
Moreover, reports are suggesting that Kohli is under pressure to deliver as the captain. Last month, a top BCCI official had said that the India captain would have to ensure that the team delivers under him, otherwise he would also have to face the music.
“It has been given to understand that Kohli eventually had the veto power on the coach issue which pushed Kumble out of the team. Now that he has his way, he has to deliver as captain.
As of now, everything is fine with the Men in Blue leading the ongoing five-match series against West Indies by 3-1 with one twenty20 to go. But in case, if the results do not go in favour of Kohli, there are rumours that he can face dire consequences and so we are taking a look at two possible candidates who can replace him as the captain of the ODI team.

1. Rohit Sharma:

Arguably, the best candidate if the BCCI looks to appoint a new skipper to the indian team. Rohit Sharma has become one of India’s most dependable players in the limited-overs format and his performance in the Champions Trophy totally proves it. After making a comeback into the national team following a gap of six months, the right-handed batsman hit the ground running, as he finished the tournament as its second highest run-scorer.
His captaincy record is equally impressive. The 30-year-old, this year, became the first captain to win three Indian Premier League (IPL) titles after leading Mumbai Indians to their third title in five years.

2. Ajinkya Rahane:

One of India’s batting mainstays in Test format, the Mumbai-born batsman is finally looking at ease in the 50-overs format. After being benched throughout the Champions Trophy, Rahane has grabbed the opportunity of opening the innings in the ongoing series against West Indies, having to score three half-centuries and a century in the first four games.
Moreover, Rahane has already proved his worth as a skipper by leading India to a thumping win over Australia in the final Border-Gavaskar series earlier this year. His tactics and game-plan drew praise from one and all and he can be a suitable candidate for India’s ODI captain.

Big Guns Return As West Indies Aim's To Reclaim Pride Against India:

Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree and Kieron Pollard will support the hosts as world champions face India in one-off  the Twenty20 International match  to be held on july 9.
West Indies have included players like Chris Gayle and Samuel Badree in their one-off  the Twenty20 against India on Sunday.
There was a murmur at the Sabina Park on last few days as the big names of West Indies cricket are finally returned to play . Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine, all of who missed the ODIs despite being fit , took on to  the field and after a brief discussion with coach Stuart Law they get into the business.
"These are players who are massively experienced in Twenty20 cricket. You don’t need to tell them anything. They have played more Twenty20's than I have” says coach Law told  when asked how tough it is to handle frequently changing sides.
The hosts,  are beaten by India  with the equation 3-1 in the series of  5 ODIs, will look to get the momentum back when they take on India in  one-off the Twenty-20 International here on 9-july.

West Indies are the world champions in this format and they have  the better  records over   India, winning four and losing two in seven Twenty20 Internationals they have played ith india till date.
However, the big question is that if  Sunday’s encounter will draw some crowds to the stadium. So low had been the interest in the ODIs that the first thing Chris Gayle hoped is that the fans at his home ground will turn out in numbers to watch him bat.

Chris Gayle, who is 37 now, is playing for West Indies after  a year. He is targeting the 50-over World Cup  will be held in 2019 as well as the next Twenty20 World Cup.

The good news for West Indies cricket is that Chris Gayle will be trying to sort out issues that have been keeping the likes of him, Narine, Pollard and Samuels out of the ODI team and which has eventually affected West Indies cricket’s standing in ICC rankings currently at the 9th place ,West Indies missed out from the ICC Champians Trophy because of low ranking only.
Cricket West Indies has a rule that require these players to feature in a minimum number of domestic matches to qualify to play for West Indies in longer formats, including the ODIs(one-days). Since none of the players from them featured in that due to their busy Twenty20 schedule, they couldn’t able play for there nation and that hurt West Indies badly.
Gayle hoped that with the arrival of big names, crowds will turn up. However, only Sunday will show if  the West Indies still need the big man and his friends or not only the time will tell it.

Virat  Kohli  May Open As Visitors Start Favourites Despite Chris Gayle Factor

Skipper Virat Kohli might open the innings when India take on the West Indies in a one-off Twenty20 match, aiming to finish their Caribbean tour on a high.
India will take on West Indies in the one-off Twenty20 on Sunday.
Rishabh Pant may get a chance to feature in the one-off Twenty20 match.
Chris Gayle will play for West Indies after a gap of 15 months(more then a year)
India secured the One-Day International series by the equation 3-1.

Skipper Virat Kohli might open the innings when India take on the West Indies in  one-off the Twenty20, looking to finish their Caribbean tour on a high despite the threat posed by Chris Gayle's  return to the home team. After winning the five-match ODI series by 3-1, Indian team  will certainly have an upper hand despite the presence of  Chris Gayle, who can single-handedly swing fortunes especially in the shortest format games like Twenty20. However, Chris Gayle will be put-on the Caribbean maroons after a gap of 15 months during which he has battledwith the injuries as well as  poor form during the Indian Premier League played from the Royal Challengers bangalore , which was his last competitive tournament before this particular game.
West Indies are regaining world champions with the likes of Gayle, Marlon Samuels, Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree still a part of the current squad led by their World T20 hero Carlos Brathwaite.
Also there's Evin Lewis, who had scored a 49-ball-100 in West Indies' one-run win over India in a T20 game in Florida, last year.
But T20 is one of the format where the home team starts on even keel against an Indian team which had its foot firmly on the pedal save an occasional blip in Jamaica.

The change in format may bring about some strategic shift in the playing XI with Virat Kohli expected to open the innings. Kohli has opened a lot for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and also occasionally for India when Rohit Sharma has not been available.
While Ajinkya Rahane has had a fantastic ODI series with close to 350 runs including a century and three half-tons, Kohli opening the innings with Shikhar Dhawan looks more descent considering the change in format of the game.
The young Rishabh Pant could finally get his chance on the tour. Pant was a part of the playing XI that last played a T20 match against England in Bengaluru, earlier this year.
The Indian team management is aiming to brush Rishabh Pant as the future limited-overs Wicket-keeper and that's the reason he may get his chance.
Kuldeep Yadav, who has been a successful T20 bowler for Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR), may also make his T20 International debut after an impressive series in which he picked up eight wickets.
Since there has been a pattern in the first 11 selection of the Indian team, the last T20 International saw leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal pick up six England wickets.
With Chahal not being a part of this squad, the management may go for a wrist spinner in Kuldeep, who has the ability to trouble the batsmen with his wrong 'uns.

IPL's highest wicket-taker, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, after some well-earned rest, will be leading the pace attack alongside Umesh Yadav.
For West Indies, the bonus will be on their spin twins Sunil Narine and Samuel Badree, who can trouble the Indian batsmen with their variations.Sunil Narine may also open the innings, something which he successfully did for KKR in the IPL.

Stats: India break Australia's world record in second ODI against West Indies

  • Some interesting numbers from the second ODI between India and West Indies.

Dhawan and Rahane are on the verge of a world record after another 50+ partnership

Ajinkya Rahane’s match-winning century helped India take a 1-0 lead over West Indies after the rain-curtailed second ODI at Port of Spain. After being asked to bat, India put on another 300+ plus total, one which helped them claim a world record and that was a little too much for the hosts who lost by 105 runs.
Indian openers might have changed but they continued their good form at the start as it was another century partnership to begin with. Although Shikhar Dhawan could only manage 63, Rahane went one better and scored his third ODI century. Virat Kohli fell just 13 short of his 28th ODI century but India still registered 310/5 in their 43 overs.

In response, the hosts never really got going and Shai Hope was the only bright spark. Even he was dismissed for 81 and from then onwards there was no chance and they eventually finished on 205/6.
